December is here and so is the month of travel, celebrations, Christmas, holidays, and bidding goodbye to the year passing by. Just the other day, a peculiar flyer was found at the airport with a not-so-unique situation. The passenger was in excess of almost 70 kgs of luggage neatly tucked into four large bags. The airline was of little help as rules are rules and they are in place for a reason. The not-so-amused flyer was in a fix about how to untangle himself from the web of extra baggage free of nearly 500 Rs per kg (nearly Rs 35000).
Now, that’s the kind of situation nobody must find themselves in. It’s a helpless space with dear luggage that has to go and dear money that can be saved for rainy, snowy, stormy days. And why not. A penny saved is a penny earned, isn’t it?
Things took quite an eventful and faithful turn when he found out about our booth at the Mumbai airport and we literally saved the day for him by transporting all that luggage to the choice of destination at just Rs 7,613 only.
Not to sound braggy but we did feel Superheroish that day; with Christmas around the corner, more Santa’ish then! A happy ending at that, alas.
